Olivia ~ Kelpie (on trial 15/09/16)

Introducing Olivia, affectionately known as Livvy. Livvy is a very pretty, almost 2 year old female Kelpie.

Livvy is polite, a little shy with new people or dogs, but has the manners of a well loved Kelpie.

Livvy has basic training, but as with all Kelpies, she is very smart and could be taught so much more. This would also help with Livvy’s confidence when meeting new humans and dogs.

Livvy was surrendered to DRN through no fault of her own.
Livvy currently lives with 3 small dogs, another medium sized dog and a revolving door of foster dogs. She gets on with everyone and definitely enjoys the company of other dogs.

Kelpies can be good jumpers so you will need appropriate fencing of at least 5 foot high. Livvy does not try to dig or jump out of our yard.

Livvy sleeps inside at night, but enjoys basking in the sun during the day. Livvy came from a family with 6 (yes 6!) kids, so she loves little people interaction. Livvy also loves cuddles and pats and is a little bit of a sook.
But gee, she’s an awesome time waster and it’s hard to say no to that face! As Livvy is used to a big family, we feel she would best suit a family with children and perhaps someone who is home often.

Livvy is toilet trained, walks well on a lead and is pretty good at entertaining herself chasing bugs and birds. Being a kelpie though, Livvy will need regular walks, toys to play with and another doggy pal would be a bonus.

Livvy is a keeper and anyone who meets her will agree. She has a beautiful nature to go with her pretty face.

Livvy’s adoption fee is $400. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
