About Ripper ~ Maltese x (on trial 30/09/16)
Introducing Ripper, 9yr old Male Maltese x. Ripper loves nothing better than to give love and be loved. He always welcomes you with a big smile and wagging tail. Ripper gets on great with people but hasn't had a lot to do with small children.
Ripper is an inside only dog, who is toilet trained and sleeps in his bed on his carers bed. Ripper would be suitable for a retired couple or person or someone who is at home all the time. Ripper is currently and only dog with his carer but he does like other little dogs so if you have a small dog like Ripper and they get on great, that could work. Ripper doesn't like big dogs as they scare him. Ripper loves to have the run of the house so he won’t like being locked into a room when you go out as this frightens him.
Rippers carer doesn't have any cats but the neighbour has one and he hasn't shown any reaction only just stares at it, also his carer has a bird and he doesn't seemed bothered by it at all.
Ripper is easy to groom, in fact he loves the attention and he loves to go for a walk, he actually gets very excited when he sees his carer with his lead ready to go.
Ripper needs to be groomed every 6-8 weeks to keep him looking so handsome.
If you are interested in Ripper and what a Ripper of a dog he is, please send a completed Adoption Questionnaire to kworlinsmith@gmail.com. Ripper is being fostered in Croudace Bay, Lake Macquarie NSW.
Ripper's adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
