About Boof
Boof is a friendly, confident, enthusiastic little chap who is on the lookout for adventure, fun and lots of love. This guy will make friends with everyone he meets but what he is really looking for is someone he can truly bond with, a family to give him a sense of belonging - if you want a dog to really COMPLETE your family, look no further.
Just about any home could suit Boof - he gets on well with other dogs and could live happily with a canine companion, he LOVES children and he hasn't had much exposure to cats but from what he has had, he was friendly and inquisitive. He does have energy to spare so will need a home where he will be walked every day and regularly included in family activities like trips to the beach. Boof does not enjoy being left home alone for long periods of time so if he is going to a home as an only dog, his new family will need to have at least one person at home most of the time.
Boof's life so far hasn't been very exciting - he has mostly been left to his own devices, shut in a backyard most of the time. But he is SO ready for that to change! As you can see he is a handsome little man with a very expressive face, he has a broad and happy grin but is also skilled at pulling some pretty intense sad faces when he doesn't want to get up out of that chair! Boof is looking for a family who will help him to flourish and become the best that he can be, and get the most out of his happy-go-lucky personality. He is a robust fellow and just the perfect size, small enough for your lap but big enough to hold his own at the dog park.
Boof is all round a great dog. If you have a great family with a Boof-shaped hole in it, then contact us today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
