Buddy

What can we say about Buddy?
Buddy is a very happy young man who loves everyone and is all about having fun. He enjoys playtime with his people and is great with children.

Buddy is quite well behaved but still needs to learn some manners. He is a good boy, extremely friendly and still being young he gets a bit jumpy when he is excited
His carers are working with him and he is catching on very quickly. He is very smart and a fast learner.
Buddy will benefit greatly from some form of obedience training to help him learn correct behaviour and to understand what is expected from him. Training is also a great way to create trust and a wonderful bond with his new family.

Buddy loves spending his time with the other dogs in his foster home and has played well with all the dogs he has met while he has been out and about. He loves going on special outings which is valuable to his socialisation and has been walking nicely on lead but sometimes gets distracted by exciting things going on around him.
He is looking for a home where he will have a mature doggy friend of similar size and energy levels to spend his days with and to help teach him the ropes. Being alone for long periods will cause him to become bored and destructive so believe this is important for him.
Buddy has seen cats but not been formally introduced so preference will be given to a home with no cats or pocket pets

Buddy currently has the opportunity to spend lots of time indoors with his family and we would like to see the continue for him in his new home so he feels safe and secure and will help him settle in and feel like an important new family member.
Buddy is almost toilet trained and usually can hang on overnight
