When I was born with my 6 other siblings, we were left behind by humans, so I am very shy and unsure about you at first. If you give me lots of patience and TLC I will give you back lots of kisses, hugs and love. I am still getting used to the lead so we can go for walks and help me discover new things, and have found that a harness helps me. I don’t make a mess everywhere and I go to the toilet outside.

Rio is an adorable and gentle pup with a cheeky streak when she becomes comfortable with you. She has been with her foster family of 5 humans, 2 other dogs (Westie and Italian Greyhound) and 2 cats. She sleeps inside of a night and is happy to be out during the day.

She doesn’t bark or howl, although she does talk to you in her own way. She isn’t aggressive and is great with other dogs and smaller people.

She would love a home that will give her lots of love and patience to continue building trust and confidence. Another dog in the home would be the best suit, but she will consider a home without.
