ABOUT DAKOTA
Dakota came to our care as a very sick little 4 week old kitten. She was critically sick with catflu, both her eyes were sealed shut with gunk and her left eye was so bad we thought she may end up needing it removed. Dakota has been through many courses of antibiotics and while her overall health is now very good, she does still sneeze on and off daily, her eyes can be quite watery at times an her breathing is sometimes quite loud and rattly. She also does not really have a voice, for a Siamese this is very unusual and it is most likely damage from her early illness. Dakota will need to be strictly indoors and either an only cat or housed with another catflu carrier only. She will likely carry and shed the virus throughout her life and will need a committed owner who understands and can afford possibly on and off lifelong medication in cases where it flares up. Medical issues aside, Dakota is the sweetest most affectionate little girl, she will hold your face and willing give and accept kisses. She loves to play with the little dogs in her foster home and adores children. Dakota is a little lady with loads of character, she is fun, cheeky, adventurous and confident. She will definitely provide lots of excitement!
If you think you can offer Dakota the home she needs I would love to hear from you!
