Hi everybody!

I am a sweet, loving girl who loves to be by your side. I love to ride in the passenger seat with the window down and travel really nicely. I don't jump around or get sick in the car at all! I am the perfect companion- quiet, clean, and loving. I don't mind a busy home; my fosters often have people over for bbq's etc- but I also enjoy my quiet time just relaxing in the yard or by the couch.

I know how to sit and wait for my food and am a very keen learner. I will do anything for your love! I can jump low fences, so it would be best to see me go to a home with high fences or someone who is home a lot so I am safe. At the moment I am in a home with 5ft fences and I haven't left. I am not a houdini, just an opportunist. My fosters have taught we what toys are, and I have come out of my shell a lot! I now bounce around like a happy puppy should and enjoy my rope toys and balls. I am very gentle with children- even though I am a big girl, I know my size and am careful not to knock or frighten them. I am also house trained.

I get along with selected dogs. I have been working on my social skills. I get a bit over excited when meeting certain dogs and can be a bit funny if not introduced slowly. OTC suspects this is because for my life up until now, I have had such very painful ear infections. The vet says the amount of scarring etc inside my ear indicates I was left with very bad infections for most of my life until OTC stepped in. Other dogs probably hurt my ears accidentally so now I am scared it will happen again and have developed a habit of being standoffish. I have a few canine friends though, we can go for walks together and be around each other in harmony. It just took controlled introductions - I don't like to just be put in a yard with a dog, I like to meet and then walk together and then meet again . There is a lot of hope left for me to have a canine friend; I just need to get some more experience. If you have an existing dog I may still be the right fit for you; perhaps we could organise to meet up with OTC's professional canine behaviour and training specialist and assess our introduction? Then everyone will feel more confident! The session would be at OTC expense.

I was scheduled to die in a pound before OTC took me on. I was very thin and have got funny looking ears from the neglected infections. Maybe this is why my owner never came to save me? It seems silly because I am a great dog and keeping my ears clean is very cheap!! OTC have had them cleaned out properly under anaesthesia and have been using special drops for them which make them feel soooo much better! I am healthy now and feeling fantastic. I come with a bottle of my drops which only costs around $20 and lasts for months. Apart from that there are no other special requirements in regards to my health!
