Hi, I'm Cass! I'm a particularly handsome purebred Staffy, with all the smarts to boot! I've had a bit of a rough trot so far in my short life, so I'm looking for a furever home with lots of activity, affection and love.
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a typically sooky Staffy who was sadly left alone a lot in my previous home, so now I deserve a family with ample time for exercise and snuggling! I'd LOVE a big garden and lots of people to play with and cuddle up to on the couch.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium to high. I'm excellent on my lead, I like chewing balls and Kongs and especially playing tug 'o war!
I learn real quick, especially when treats are involved ;) I'm enthusiastic and would love to continue my training, which is going really well - my foster mum is very impressed!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm great with kids, but older ones are preferred as I can be a bit boisterous and love to wrestle!
MY SUITABILITY TO DOGS AND CATS: I'm great with cats, just sniff hello and keep walking, no chasing at all... I know, right!?
I'm good with other dogs too, but I like to play fairly rough. Older or smaller dogs aren't much fun to wrestle with and get a bit annoyed... Booooring!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form. For Cats: https://aus1.sheltermanager.com/service?account=st0130&method=online_form_html&formid=1

We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
