About Bear
Bear is a super cute and energetic greyhound x wolfhound (or possibly staghound.....) boy looking for love and a forever home. He is very affectionate and loves cuddles.
He is only one year old (DOB December 15, 2016) and a wonderful puppy.
Bear is a happy and friendly boy. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and shapes but is not cat friendly. Bear shares his foster home with two greyhounds and a greyhound x and enjoys twice daily walks. He eats well and is a very happy and loveable boy.
Bear is a very playful and energetic puppy who needs daily exercise and play time.
He walks 30 minutes in the morning and evening and loves a good run in the garden. His new home must have a big backyard for him to stretch his long legs. Bear will happily run up and down the garden with a toy in his hand to shed all of his energy.
Bear learns quickly and is very food motivated. He listens very well and is easily trained with treats and praise.
He wants to please so badly and has not one mean bone in his body. Bear will do well in a home where he has a daily routine of exercise, play and learning various things, e.g. shake, speak, down, etc.
He would be happy to share his home with another dog and is suitable to live with older children aged 12+ (only because he is so big and can accidentally knock little people over).
Bear sleeps on his own bed at night and is toilet trained.
He can struggle when left home alone which is why he is not suitable as an only pet (unless someone is home all the time).
His name Bear is short for Teddy Bear.
