On Hold
About “Rebah and Bolt”, Two Peas in a Pod. Brisbane
Introducing an Olympic event just for greyhounds – synchronised sleeping! Rebah and her best buddy Bolt are champions at sleeping in exactly the same position. This is one sign of the special bond that these two share. From the time they arrived in foster care, Rebah and Bolt have leaned on each other, and independent Rebah is the perfect complement to Bolt’s shy, loving personality. They snuggle together, play together, and are never far from one another. Needless to say, we want to find them a home where they can stay together forever!
Rebah and Bolt like a good walk, or a burst of chasing each other around the backyard. They also love snoozing, and they’re increasingly fond of cuddles from humans. Rebah is more confident, climbing the stairs easily on her first day, and barking at any strange dogs who pass by. Bolt is still gaining confidence, hasn’t attempted the stairs yet, and will hide behind Rebah if a loud noise startles him. They’re living successfully with children (over seven), but like to have a place to retreat when they need peace and quiet. Neither is suitable for living with cats or small dogs.
Rebah and Bolt are looking for patient humans who’ll help them keep learning the rules of being a pet. They’re both toilet trained, and have learned that some things are ‘off limits’, but sometimes make little errors like mistaking the TV remote for a dog toy! Now they’ve found each other, Rebah and Bolt are ready to find some very special humans to love and lead their little ‘pack’.
