This happy-go-lucky little girl is Indy

Indy is such a sweet, happy and energetic little girl who LOVES going for walks and knows exactly what is going on when she sees you reaching for her leash. She is a little reactive towards people and other dogs when out walking but it is all just due to excitement and wanting to say hello.
She does need further training to learn to walk nicely on lead as she gets super excited about going out and does pull quite a bit. Her carer has been working with her daily and she is making really good progress. With some patience and further guidance she will continue to improve and her daily walks will be very enjoyable

Indy enjoys her visits to the park every day with her foster carer and other resident and foster dogs. While at the park Indy will run and run chasing birds and anything else that moves but always returns when she is called. She is very friendly with other dogs and very gentle with children.
Indy would like to find a home where she will have a desexed doggy brother to run and play with. Considering her age and energy levels she will not cope being left on her own. She likes to keep busy and gets bored very easily. A home with another female dog will not be considered to avoid dominance issues amongst two females.

Indy has not met any cats while she has been in our care but considering her gentle laid back nature we think she be happy to set up resident with a friendly resident feline

Indy also travels well in the car, she likes to check out everything going past and loves the idea of the adventures ahead.

Indy is loving life in her foster home and is welcome inside to spend lots of time with her family. She also has the opportunity to sleep indoors to feel warm and secure and we would like to see this continue for her in her new home. She is well mannered, knows her basic commands and is toilet trained and she can hang on overnight.
