About Bessie
Bessie is a sweet natured, loving and adorable little cattle dog X female who found herself out in a rural pound needing urgent help. She is very dog friendly and even amazing with horses but true to her blue heeler nature, she is a natural. She is obedient and loyal to any human who shows her affection and shows a true nature of heeling even without us interfering with natural instincts.
Due to this we would suggest an active and stimulating household, both physically and mentally and a household without young kids as this may trip them over. So kids over the age of 8 would be suitable.
She hasn't met any cats in foster care so we are unsure how she would go with those.
Safe and secure fencing is essential for her over 5ft to make sure she stays in her backyard properly or she is very and most suitable to an acreage and land set up as she is loyal and obedient to staying at the household. She would also suit a home that wants to continue her obedience work and maybe enter her into an agility setting or Tri-ball competitions.
Medical notes
Ready to go after Monday 5th September
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
