About Maddy ~ Labrador x (on trial 3/09/16)
G'day! I'm Maddy, I am a 6 month old Labrador x on the hunt for a home to call my own.
I love long walks on the beach and lots of snuggles on the lounge with my humans. I'm a bit of a beauty with a lovely coat that does shed a little bit. I don't like to bark but I love to chew. Dental chews are my favourite but I do love a frozen bone.
I get along with all other dogs but sometimes they boss me about. It's not really a problem I think they are just teaching me that's it's not ok to jump all over them. But they are so exciting I can't help myself sometimes.
My foster mum tells me that I am a very good girl when I get over my initial excitement. I really love her. I'm also in love with the kids who are 2, 6 & 9. They don't like the jumping so I have to remember to sit and let them cuddle me which I really like as usually their cuddles come with food.
I am vaccinated and desexed and ready for a family of my very own who will walk and cuddle me daily!
Looking forward to meeting you!
Love Maddy xo

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
