About Hugo
Hugo is a beautifully bred very handsome 18 month old German Shepherd currently in care at Kemps Creek, NSW.
Hugo is a lovely dog with people seeking affection and just needing to be with his human pack. Hugo has unfortunately not received proper socialisation with other dogs so he shows typical reactivity with other dogs. His former owners surrendered him into care and unfortunately he is in a kennel so we really want Hugo needs to be in a home again.
We would love him to find his forever home as quickly as possible so he can start his new life with his new family. This new family must understand this breed and be able to teach him better manners and obedience. Hugh's lead work is ok but improvement is required!!!
Hugo will need a firm hand but he is very endearing and very loving and he will make a wonderful family dog once he has settled in and been given some training, a decent diet and firm boundaries. Attendance at an Obedience Club will help with his socialising and his obedience over all.
Please call or email Jo if you can offer this boy the home he deserves. Please also be prepared to talk about the amount of exercise and training you will be providing and also the type of diet he will be given. He is not to be a guard dog as he has had a rough start so if you are after security for your property invest in an alarm.
Medical notes
Hugo is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is on heart worm prevention.
