About Arlo
Please meet Arlo .... this stunning guy is a 1 - 2 year old Shar Pei x who has quickly won the hearts of everyone here at the facility.
Arlo has an absolutely gorgeous nature - he is a happy goofy boy. He gets along great with all his doggy friends and with a positive introduction, we believe he may be able to live with cats.
He can be a little shy when first meeting strangers, however once he knows you want to be his friend he is super affectionate and is always up for play time.
Arlo is still quite young and would benefit from some positive training as he can pull a little on the lead - however this abates very quickly after the initial excitement of heading out for a walk. He can at times also jump up to show his affection, however he does this very gently and we are sure that with further training this will also improve.
Shar Pei's are known to be naturally clean dogs who are easy to house train and very loyal to their families .... and although Arlo isn't a pure Shar Pei, he definitely does possess these qualities.
The perfect home for Arlo would be one where he would have another dog for company if you are working long hours and he would love to be involved in the day to day activities of his new family.
Arlo's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Arlo is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Arlo, please email ccacfadoptions@gmail.com, drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Arlo is looking forward to meeting you.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
