About Hunny
Hunny was found abandoned tied to a barbed wire fence. She was handed to a passer by and then surrendered. Hunny's foster carer advises that she is deaf (not unusual for the heeler breed) and hence must be adopted into a home with at least one other doggy pal. Deaf dogs lead a normal, happy life as long as they have another dog to use as a role model. They can also learn basic obedience through hand commands. Hunny has the sweetest nature and has already learned to walk very well on the lead. With another doggy pal and an owner who will put in the time to teach her the basic obedience levels through hand commands, hunny will make a wonderful new addition to a loving home. Paws can refer her new owner to volunteers in the network who specialise in training deaf dogs and information is available on the internet here
Hunny comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with local council lifetime registration for $275. Please phone ronda on 0418 123852 or email ronda@paws. Com. Au if you would like more information on hunny or to arrange to meet her.
