About Coconut (Cat/Dog/Child Friendly)
SPECIAL NEEDS DOG - HEARING IMPAIRED -
Meet Coconut aka Coco, a private surrender to Wally's Doggie Rescue. Coconut is pure white in colour with BLUE EYES, Border Collie x Australian Shepard who is HEARING IMPAIRED.We suspect she may have some slight hearing but not 100%. She does the cutest head tilts like she can hear something.
Coconut is 6 mths old and is just a delight. She is learning sign language to communicate and is picking it up very quickly. Coconut is learning to walk on a lead and is sleeping in her crate, of a night no problem. She is inside toilet trained. Coconut is living in a family environment with cats, dogs and 2 children aged 7 years and 10 years. Coconut is MEDIUM energy level, and is FOOD motivated and a smart girl. Her furever home, will need to be someone experience with a HEARING IMPAIRED dog, or show that they have researched dog trainers in their areas and are committed to Coconuts ongoing care, socialisation and training. We have found out since coming into care that, Coconut is a WATER BABY and is constantly jumping in and out of the shell pool during the day and zooming around the backyard with her foster host dogs.
Coconut is NOT POULTRY or POCKET pet friendly. Her herding drive is to strong. Please note we do not hold dogs without a deposit and all existing dogs in the family are encouraged to come and meet Coconut prior to adoption. Coconut has had all vetwork attended and a meet and greet can be arranged. (Weekends preferred).
Coconut is located on Central Coast in Green Point, NSW where is lives with her foster family. Please call Amanda her foster carer on 0411699213 or email for more details.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about COCONUT, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
