About Brandy *On Trial in Her New Home*
*BRANDY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Although she’s small in stature, delightful Brandy is big on personality! At a rather cute 5½ months old, this little teddy bear look-a-like will easily capture your heart.
Brandy is a healthy, happy puppy who would love a home with a playful doggy friend for company if work commitments will keep you away for much of the day. We’re not sure how she is around cats (we’re guessing she’d be fine) though she’s great with other dogs playing the submissive role when she meets them. Brandy’s also terrific with children and doesn’t mind being picked up for some loving. She’s quite the snuggle-bunny who enjoys pats and attention and will roll over for one of her fave belly rubs at the drop of a hat.
Because Brandy is only a baby she is still learning toilet training and will need more practice with this in her forever home. In fact, she is still learning a few skills such as “sit” and “stay” and she does jump up a bit when excited, so enrolling her in puppy school or similar would be recommended - she thoroughly enjoys Schmackos which will help with her training too! Brandy has learnt to play fetch and loves playing with toys and she’s getting the hang of walking on a lead and enjoys getting out and about. She’s not overly licky or a yapper which is a bonus.

Adorable Brandy currently enjoys an indoor / outdoor lifestyle which we would like to see continued in her forever home - if she’s to be a well-rounded member of your family she will need her inside snuggle time especially in the evenings. She’s crate trained and will take herself to ‘bed’ when she’s ready or if she needs time out. Brandy also travels well in a car having done a couple of Mildura to Adelaide return trips with her foster family.
Pretty little Brandy is quite low-maintenance, only requiring a brush (loves it!) and the occasional bath to keep her coat in tip-top condition. And thanks to the Shih Tzu/Maltese in her Brandy doesn’t lose much hair though will need a professional clip a few times a year. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make Brandy very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
