About Nigel (Dog Friendly)
Meet Nigel a gorgeously sweet Amstaff Mix boy of 4 mths of age. Nigel was saved by Wally's Doggie Rescue from a country pound.
Nigel is dog friendly, happy and outgoing. Nigel is learning to SIT and walk on a LEAD. The Amstaff breed in particular are known to be an intelligent, happy, outgoing, stable, and confident dog. Nigel has had a previous poor up bringing and needs guideance and requires obedience training, to guide him into this world, who once let him down. Nigel is gentle and loving towards people, it is a good-natured, amusing, extremely loyal and affectionate family pet. Nigel is good with older children and adults. he does get a tad excited around little children.
Nigel wants nothing more than to please his master. When properly trained and socialised, Nigel would make a great family companion. Nigel being an Amstaff, is not the breed for a the passive owner who does not understand that all dogs have an instinct to have a pack order. Nigel will need a firm, confident, consistent owner who understands how to display proper leadership and previosuly experience with Bull breeds preferred.. You only need to look up your local dog pound, to find 90% of the dogs in there are Staffodrshire/Amstaff mixes. The objective in training this dog is to achieve pack leader status. It is a natural instinct for a dog to have an order in its pack. When we humans live with dogs, we become their pack. The entire pack cooperates under a single leader; lines are clearly defined. You and all other humans MUST be higher up in the order than the dog. That is the only way your relationship can be a success. Wally's is going to kickstart Nigel's training, at Wyong Dog Training Club and provide 3 FREE dog training sessions. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and NIGEL.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about NIGEL, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure your yard is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
