About Grandpa
Grandpa is a laid back friendly older gentleman that found himself waiting in the pound to be reclaimed; unfortunately this never occurred and he came into care and has been soaking up the sun in foster care ever since. This boy is beautiful; he is obedient, friendly, low maintenance and a real older gentleman.
He would suit a home that allows him to be inside and outside and a home as either an only dog or with another friendly and social dog. He is welcoming and social with dogs of all sizes and even though he is older, he is still happy to play and interact with others. He is also very friendly wth young kids and would be fine in a home with dog savvy children.
Even though he is older he still likes to enjoy the simple things in life; a good raw bone in the sun, some gardening with his foster family, a daily walk and a warm and comfortable bed inside at night. He isn't interested in escaping a yard so fencing over 4ft is suitable for him.
We haven't assessed him with chickens or cats so we aren't completely sure how he interacts and reacts to them. Grandpa has excellent obedience, he has all his basic training, on and off leash skills and also toilet training.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
