Hi I’m JK (or John or Johnathan) and I was named after the late John Kaye, a good friend and advocate for us houndies. I arrived to GR in not the best condition with two other ladies but after some TLC here at GR HQ I’m doing much better. Ever so handsome I’m slipping into my senior years ever so gracefully and prefer to hang out with the ladies. I am good with children, but would prefer a home without kitties or small fluffy dogs. I’m gentle and sweet, a real teddy bear and just like chilling out in the sunshine. Who can resist my handsome face? Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
