About Trixie ~ Chihuahua (on trial 27/08/16)
Trixie is a loyal, happy, easy going 9 year old female Chihuahua. She is an absolute delight and greets everybody with her tail wagging at a million miles an hour.
Trixie is fully house trained and an inside dog. She also enjoys being outside playing fetch with her favorite squeaky toy and going on a short daily walk. Trixie is a perfect companion and loves nothing more than to follow you around as you go about your day or sit with you and have a cuddle.
Trixie is currently in foster care with two other small doggie friends and a kitty. She loves her doggie friends but she will sometimes chase her kitty friend for fun.
Trixie came into care because her owner passed away. Trixie has been used to spending a lot of time with her Dad so her perfect home would be with a mature couple or person who is looking for a little buddy.
This beautiful girl needs a home with a human who will give her all of the love and attention that she deserves.
Please contact her foster mum by email ksluyter@exemail.com.au Trixie is located in the Nords Wharf, NSW area.
Trixie's adoption fee is $200 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
