About Piper **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Hi, I'm Piper. Some of you may have seen photos and stories about me on Facebook and helped me with donations. I thank you as without these I may not have been here!
I was found when I was very young, dumped in a box with my two siblings. They were big and strong, but I was still very small, only 400 grams... is that small?? My siblings found their new families a long time ago, but I needed to stay with my foster carer for a little longer. There were many trips to what they call a vet, who poked and prodded me, but whatever they did must have worked, because I have grown so much! I still may be small, but what I lack in stature I make up for in personality. I have an enormous purr and quite a lot of attitude, but I think this is a good thing. Who doesn't like to be the centre of attention and aren't our human slaves there to serve us - You know I am a princess after all!!
I would love a family where I have lots of company - either the human slave variety, other cats or even "cough cough"... dogs. Really, the more to boss around the better! You will need to be extra special though, as my foster carer only wants the best for her little Piper and after the start to my short life that I have had, I have to agree. Who will be my lucky new family?!?
Adoption details
All our cats and kittens are:
* desexed,
* micro-chipped,
* vaccinated and
* worm and flea treated.
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE

2. You will be e-mailed our Adoption Questionnaire
3. Complete the Adoption Questionnaire and send (e-mail) back to us.
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
If the adoption is going ahead, we ask that you pay on the day of adoption the fee as stated on the cat's profile .
Please note that we only accept cash.
We hand over a signed Change of Ownership form which you will need to send to the Microchip company after the two week trial period has expired.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
All kittens adopted from 2nd Chance Cat Rescue come with a complimentary Adoption Pack!
