Pedro (Bed44443)

Pedro is our special boy! He was found tied to a tree on the side of the road 100km North of Broome with a note under a rock saying "My name is Pedro" We brought him into the program but three days later he became very unwell and was diagnosed with parvovirus. Every day we did not know if he would survive but with expert care and his own strong will to live he pulled through, albeit very emaciated his transformation is amazing to see, we have attached before and after photos.

He is now a month down the track and has a lovely shiny coat, a spunky but very loving personality and is putting on weight. He would also really like a home to call his own! This boy really is a gentle giant, he likes to think he's a lapdog and loves to nudge your legs like a cat to let you know that those hands dangling by your side are supposed to be patting him! He does need manners training but he is learning and is keen to please. He walks well on a lead with a front attaching harness, is ok with dog savvy cats and would be better suited to a family with older kids - just because of his size. He'd make an awesome tradies dog!
