About Ellie (Dog Friendly)
If only we all had Ellie’s energy! With that infectious smile and wiggling bum, this girl is everyone’s friend.
You think your dog is active? Do you struggle to keep up with their energy? Ellie may be just what your dog needs ;) or maybe you’re looking for a young active dog who loves to learn new tricks, be trained in Agility and get you motivated to keep fit. Miss Ellie says you should probably keep reading….
My name is Ellie (just in case you missed it) and by now, my energy level may be worrying you, but….let’s look at the bigger picture. Luckily for me (and more so you), I adapt well to new surroundings and people, so separation anxiety is not an issue. I’m fully toilet trained inside the home and crate trained at night for sleeping. I have no interest in jumping fences and have shown no destructive behaviours while in care.
I absolutely LOVE to wrestle and play with other big dogs like myself (although I’m in between medium and large) and will be happy to do this for hours. Rope toys also provide me endless entertainment. My foster mum has started doing some Agility training with me and I’m picking that up super quick and enjoying every minute of it! It’s definitely something I would love to continue in my forever home. I’ll also sit and shake paws before dinner every night (yes I’ve been taught manners).
To continue my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and I.
Do you love walking? Great! So do I….I walk really well with a halti collar and am very responsive to commands while out and about. I best mention though, if you’re a big softy who lets me get away with everything, I will end up being your boss ;) So I’m looking for a person who is a good strong leader and I will certainly learn to respect that.
Once I’ve had my dinner (I’m not fussy with food) and run off my energy for the day, I would love nothing more but to snuggle with you on the lounge at night and watch some TV. I do enjoy hanging out with the kids too, but due to my size, kids over the age of 10 would be best. Whilst I love dogs…pocket pets, chickens and cats are really not my thing so would prefer not to be sharing my forever home with them ;)
Feel free to call my foster mum, Heather and she can organize for you to meet me. But be warned, you may fall in love and take me home, so be prepared for that. Luckily, my vet work is complete, so I’ll be ready to go when you are.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about ELLIE, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
