Honey (2988)

~ HONEY'S POEM ~

"For 42 days I have been in a kennel with bars in front of me,
I try and be happy to get myself a new family.

I love chin scratches which I wish I could get all day,
And for a forever home and family I always pray.

For 42 days my owner has not come,
Lost or abandoned... I just want anyone.

To come and meet me through the kennel bars,
And ask to take me out and think I'm a star.

And give me cuddles and chin scratches,
So I can be happy and give smiles in big batches.

But for 42 days I look for a new mum or dad,
So I no longer need to be sad.

But in that time no one has come,
To look me in the eye and say 'You're the one!'.

Please visit me if you think you can give me the home of my dreams." - Honey.

If you have another dog and wish to meet Honey, please bring him/her in to the facility to see if they will become friends. Honey has been friendly towards many other dogs at the facility.
