About Oscar ED0058
Oscar is such a happy and affectionate young boy who will enthusiastically do anything for you for a hug and a good head scratch. Oscar is also very gentle, quiet and easy going, and just takes things in his stride.
Oscar is bright and in his short time in care has learned to sit, walk beautifully on a leash and displays lovely manners when it comes to his food. He is being fostered with a female dog and does not guard his food at mealtimes.
Oscar is still a bit of a pup and loves to play – he enjoys chasing a ball or chasing a dog chasing a ball – he doesn’t mind as long as he is having fun! Oscar has also shown a tendency to chase cats so may not be suitable to live with other smaller species.
Oscar has always lived with female dogs so if you are considering offering him a home and have a resident male dog they would need to be introduced prior to adoption to ensure compatibility.
Oscar would be suited to a home where his person is home most of the time or where Oscar can be with his owner most of the day – if left alone for long periods he does take time to settle when his human returns which may indicate a little anxiety. Oscar has not been tested with children.
Oscar’s carer has described him as her dream dog – she says he is such a joy to have around, calm, gentle and affectionate – what more could you ask from a canine companion.
