About Buddy
Hi there, my names buddy and I was recently surrendered due to no fault of my own.
I am described by my carers as a gentle, loving and a great companion.
I need a home where I will receive a lot of and positive attention as I am rather shy at first but once I know you I am fine. I love my cuddles and chin scratches.
I am good with other dogs and am fine with cats too. I am easy to train and follow instructions when I trust you. I do snore and my favourite sleeping position is with all four legs up in the air! I will only bark to let you know when someone is about.
I have a lovely soft temperament. I am house trained, but may still have accidents whilst adjusting to my new home so will need supervision for the first few months. I enjoy getting treats and my carers find I understand that good behaviour gets me treats.
I am best suited to being inside rather than outside, alongside my humans.
I haven't had a lot to do with children whilst in care, however I seem to have good manners with ones I have met, but may need just a little training in how to say hello gently.
So all up I will make a lovely companion with anyone who is willing to continue with my ongoing socialising and obedience training and introduce me carefully to new people.
"My previous owners believed I was a Cocker Spaniel X Border Collie but we think Buddy has more likely got something like Schnauzer or wire haired retriever/terrier in his genes or all four!"
Please contact Larissa: she is busy with work and doesn’t have time to answer calls, but texts are easy for her.
