About Elly ~ Labrador x Cattle Dog puppy
Elly is a 11 week old, female, Labrador x Cattle Dog puppy. She is happy, healthy and playful. She has been raised in a home environment. She will grow up to be a medium to large dog. We recommend puppy training classes for all puppies. She will need a daily walk, toys, and interaction with people. Puppies are a big commitment for approximately 12 to 15 years.
Elly needs to be allowed inside when people are home, and must sleep inside. She will be great family dog, suitable for children. You will need good fencing with no small gaps. She cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Elly. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Elly's sister Eliza and brother Ethan are also available. They are healthy, happy little puppies ready to begin their lives in their forever homes.
As Elly is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Elly, please phone her foster mum Robyn on 02 4953 7115. Please leave a detailed message and she'll ring you back. The puppies are in Glendale, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle).
Elly's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing and vaccinations and she has been treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
