About Kurt
Kurt has come into our care from an animal shelter in Sydney. He was surrendered by his former owner as they could not afford to keep him and his brother Boz.
Kurt is a gentle one and half year old desexed German Shepherd who is looking for a forever home. Kurt is your typical young dog who in his short life has not been provided with lead or obedience training. We are putting the time into training this young lad but he is very enthusiastic and needs firm direction and structure and within a short time he will grow into a beautiful companion dog.
So Kurt will need further lead and obedience training and a confident owner who will ensure he is given firm boundaries, structure to his day and plenty of exercise and stimulation.
Currently in care at Box Hill in Sydney if you feel you have the experience to take on a young and headstrong dog and have the patience to persevere with training and plenty of time to walk and exercise Kurt then please contact Linda.
Kurt would not be suitable to go to a home with young children mainly due to his size and boisterousness. We have not tested with him cats or pocket pets. We would undertake meets and greets with prospective new homes who would like Kurt to be a friend for their existing dog.
Medical notes
Kurt is desexed, vaccinated C5 on hear worm prevention and will be professionally groomed prior to going to his forever home.
