Jimmy

Jimmy has been DNA tested, which showed his mother was a husky x malamute x golden retriever. His father was a pure Maremma sheepdog. Jimmy has all the intelligence and independence of his breed mix. He is a big puppy who loves the company of other dogs and is great with the cat (but still needs some supervision!). He loves to cuddle, sleeps soundly inside all night or is happy to sleep outside and "guard" the house.

Jimmy has the big deep Maremma bark, so will not be suited to an urban environment. While he is independant, he enjoys company and will not be suited to being an only dog who is left on his own for long periods.

Jimmy's ideal owner will live on acreage and have experience with arctic breeds or maremmas (or preferably both!). They will have time to continue Jimmy's training and to give him all the love and companionship he deserves.

Jimmy can sit, lie down, shake hands and take treats gently from your hand.
