About Ernie
Introducing Ernie, a super sweet, handsome long legged Wolfie x. Ernie arrived into care along with his 6 litter mates and all were very underweight. In just a few days, Ernie is starting to gain weight and settling in well to his new foster home. He is currently in care with 6 other dogs, of all ages and sizes and although he has become great mates with his foster brother who is similiar in age, Ernie loves everyone!
In just under an hour, this clever little man had mastered the doggie door and will sit for treats and meals. He is extremely trainable and adapts quickly to new environments. Toilet training is going really well and he's learning so much from his host dogs in care. Ernie loves his humans...adults, children, teenagers...he enjoys being close to you and will follow you wherever you go in the house and yard. He has no idea of 'personal space' and often ends up under your feet!
Ernie is so loving, gentle and has the most beautiful nature you could want in a dog. He does enjoy a good rough and tumble with his furry friends, but humans are his true love. We would love to see Ernie find a home where he would be someone's 'best mate' or 'companion'. A home where he would have the constant companionship he so desperately wants. Once fully obedience trained, you will have a lifelong companion you can take anywhere.
To kickstart his training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Ernie.
Ernie will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated (1st & 2nd), wormed/heartwormed and flea treated. Ernie is booked in for desex on 30th August and will be available once all his vet work is complete. He is however, available for a meet and greet now. Ernie is located in Blue Haven on the Central Coast, NSW.
