G'day mate!

The name's Cecil. If chilling out in the backyard while you get the BBQ going sounds like your thing I'm just the dog for you.

I'm a pretty typical Kelpie in that I love to chase a tennis ball around I just haven't quite figured out how to bring it back yet but you can bet when I do I'll be the best fetcher around!

I've got a lot of energy to burn and a brain to go with it so someone that has had a Kelpie or another working breed before would be the perfect owner for me!

I'm still basically a teenager so I've got a bit of growing left in me and plenty of learning still to do. I could definitely use some extra training in order to turn me into the best dog I can be. If you put in the hard yards I'll be able to learn a whole bunch of tricks.

I've lived with a lot of other dogs so I don't mind being around them too much but most the dogs I lived with were family so it's better to bring any dogs you have at home along to see if we can be good mates first.

Being such a smart dog I can get a bit bored sometimes so I need lots of toys and enrichment like a big meaty bone or a pigs ear to keep me busy while you're out of the house.

I'm a true blue dog that'll make a great mate for you and the family so if I sound like the right dog for you come and chat with some of my buddies here at the RSPCA and see if we get along!
