About Bob
Do you have 6ft fences or spend a lot of time at home and are looking for a beautiful dog to complete your family or be your best mate? Then Bob would be prefect for you!
He was rescued after spending months in a rural pound in a dark concrete cell with no one other than his brother Jake. Jake was rescued by another rescue group and has since found his forever home.
Bob is a Kelpie X Shepherd who loves to be with his family. Ideally he has high fences (approx 6ft) and someone who is home during the day/night.
Bob is a gorgeous dog and gets attached quickly. His anxiety levels fluctuate from his time in the pound. He definitely needs a 6ft fence or he will jump or climb over to be with you.
He is not interested in toys or playing but loves attention and has plenty of love to give. Bob loves to be right next to you and will even sleep next to you if he could. He hasn't quite worked out chasing the ball but has definitely worked out how to cuddle.
Bob has been toilet trained and still squats instead of lifting his leg, he hardly barks and doesn't chew or destroy anything. He knows basic commands like sit and drop, recognises hand signals and comes when he is called. He loves his food and a good cuddle or pat.
Bob just wants to be loved by anyone he meets. He is Timid on first meeting, until he know he can trust you. He would make a great companion for someone. He loves being inside with you and will sit right next to you but also is happy to go for a run outside or even a walk (he is great on a lead).
He is great with kids of all ages including babies - he is very gentle. He has had interaction with all sizes of dogs and hasn't had a problem. We don't know what he is like with cats as he hasn't met any but is fond of chasing a bird or duck.
