About Brodie
This little cutie is Brodie!
Brodie is an extremely loving and affectionate boy.
He is very devoted to his people and craves love and affection.
Brodie gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and would enjoy having a desexed doggy companion in his new home but still prefers that most of his company comes from his family.
He has been through lots of changes recently and has settled quite well with his foster family but is still quite anxious and doesn't like being left alone. He may relax a bit once he settles into his new home and knows he is safe but we don't think he will ever cope well with being left alone for long periods of time.
Brodie has met a couple of children and was quite relaxed and enjoyed their company. A home with calm children who understand dogs needing their personal space would be suitable for him.
Brodie has also met the resident cats in his foster home and isn't really fussed by them. He watches them, wags his tail then loses interest and heads back to his carer for another cuddle.
A home with secure high fencing will be needed as he can jump over small fences with ease. If he becomes lonely he may feel the need to go looking for his family so he will need to be in a yard where there is no chance of escape
He will happily curl up with you in bed or on the couch, loves his belly rubs and has no issues with being picked up and carried around.
Brodie is still a bit nervous in the car but enjoys being out and about.
Calm outings will be great to continue his socialisation and giving him the chance to experience positive interaction with new people and other dogs will be wonderful to help him continue to gain his confidence
If you think you can offer Brodie a loving home where he will be given the time and understanding to adjust to his new life we would love to hear from you
Brodie is currently in Ferntree Gully
