Lexie

Lexie is a sweet little girl, full of love to give.

She is loyal to her people and loves nothing more than a cuddle and a snuggle with her humans. Lex is calm and placid around the house. Not destructive or anxious. She is low maintenance and enjoys resting on her bed.

Lexie is a clever little girl. She walks very well on lead and has some basic obedience, she will sit and drop on command. She is very polite with treats and around meal time - where she sits without being asked! She has great recall too, she knows her name and comes bounding when called. Ever the people pleaser, she would do well at obedience.

Lex would also benefit from some obedience, predominantly for socialisation. She finds it very confronting and uncomfortable to meet new dogs and is clearly fearful. However, during her time in foster care, she has become wonderful friends with her foster brother - a male staffy x. She thoroughly enjoys playing and snuggling in bed with him to keep warm. Knowing this, she would be best suited to a home with no other pets. But, a friendly desexed male doggy companion could work as she has shown she can become friends with a suitable dog. IF there was a willingness from the adopter to put in the time and effort to make this work. Lexie is not an off leash dog park dog. But, is only young and with the right experiences has shown she will improve.
