About Hobson
***Rehomed - 2/9/16***
This beautiful boy was saved from the put to sleep list after being surrendered to a rural pound along with his friend.
What a wonderful Save!
Hobson, although starved from food, love and attention knows nothing but kindness. He will rest his head on your lap and look adoringly into his foster mums eyes. He is a strong boy and does need guidance to train him not too jump. This is just from excitement and is getting better everyday that he is with us.
He plays with his foster sisters and loves to run around with them . He would need a bigger dog/s in his new home, as he does like to play with his front legs and this could be a bit much for a smaller dog.
Hobson is happy to sleep in a crate or out in a kennel with his foster sisters. Not a peep is heard from him through the night. He is not a barker unless there is something to bark at. He is fine to be left in the yard with the other dogs and will be there wagging his tail with excitement when you get home.
This boy came to us so skinny and was/is extremely resourceful in finding his own food. This is settling down now as he is getting used to the fact that whatever he eats may not be his last meal. He is happy to be touched whilst eating.
We feel his amazing new home would have a solid doggy friend and be in a home that allows him to be part of the family. Hobson is very well behaved inside and will go to sleep on his bed whilst the family watch TV.
Medical notes
Hobson will be desexed, vaccinated, heartworm tested/treated and microchipped as soon as he has put on some weight.
