About Buddy
Buddy is a big beautiful boy with a lovely soft black and white coat. Despite his youth he can be very quiet and gentle and always has a soft expression on his face. He is highly affectionate and loves cuddles and an ear rub. A sensitive, sweet boy, he has an enchanting innocence and would respond best to positive and gentle guidance as he embraces the life ahead of him.
Buddy loves his toys and this is when he becomes active and rather joyful running and tossing them around in the backyard. And he loves his daily 'zoomie' or two. He has a particular interest in large stuffed doorstops and his foster carer is always finding them in the backyard instead of against the door. Yep, the stuffed owl in the picture is actually a doorstop!
He is friendly with other dogs. He loves going for walks, meeting people and trips out in the car.
Maybe because he is a big boned boy, Buddy enjoys his comfort and he is usually found inside lying upside down on the lounge with his legs spreadeagled in the air (in Greylish we say, "doing a 'roach"). On sunny days you may find him snoozing on the grass.
Buddy would make a lovely companion for any age group. Because he is often quite chilled, it's easy to forget he is only 2, but he is young and vital and it is important that he gets his simple exercise needs met. You will get lots of smooches in return.
Medical notes
All vet work done.

Greyhounds are gentle, highly sensitive dogs that will surprise you with their ability to love and engage. It is expected that you will provide patience, love and encouragement to assist with the transition from life in a race kennel to becoming a pet and cherished part of the family unit.
They are mainly indoor dogs that need comfortable, safe places to sit and sleep so you must be prepared to accommodate this via suitable bedding and warm clothes in cooler months. A safe, secure yard is required and they appreciate a walk everyday and/or playtime in the backyard.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
