About Ziggy
Ziggy loves kisses and cuddles, treats and routine. Even though Ziggy is almost 8 he still enjoys one or two short walks a day. Ziggy loves people and wants to say hello to everyone when he’s out and about. While he is a big boy and quite gentle, he also doesn’t realise his size or strength when he gets excited.
People: Ziggy is a people kind of bulldog and loves one-on-one time with his human(s). Ziggy will be an awesome companion for a couple or single adult. Ziggy loves having company but will happily lounge around when he is home alone. No kids please.
Other animals : No thank you - Ziggy is a one dog show and should be the only pet in his forever home.
Obedience: Ziggy is quite good at sit, drop, stay and wait. His foster carer is working on relaxed walking on the lead as Ziggy only has one speed - and that's GO!
Bulldog Quirks: Ziggy loves to find a spot in the sun to relax in during the day, and cuddle or chew on his teddy when he needs to feel comforted. Ziggy's other favouriate past time is car rides. He will jump at any opportunity to take a trip in the car.
If you're confident and experienced with large dogs, and would include Ziggy as a loved member of your family we would love to hear from you
Medical notes
Whilst in foster care Ziggy has had a cherry eye fixed which has resulted in a condition called 'dry eye' and needs daily eye drops for the rest of his days (they are inexpensive from the chemist). Ziggy has also had a couple of lumps removed from his legs and the samples are currently away for analysis. Ziggy has recently switched to a grain free food and this has helped enormously with some skin & ear inflammation.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the Ziggy. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
