About Bonnie-Belle
Bonnie is a joyful, vivacious young lady whose happy-go-lucky nature warms the heart like spring sunshine. She is a strong, healthy and attractive alpha female – a canine Wonder Woman! You will think this is the sort of girl who takes charge and asks a man out on a date ;)
Dig a little deeper and you will uncover a highly sensitive soul, who is incredibly gentle, loving and affectionate. She loves schmoozing up to you in the hope of hugs, soft strokes and ear tickles. Being part of the racing industry means Bonnie has had to put on a 'brave face' and now needs love and patience after her life on the track. Greyhounds open their hearts to kindness and tenderness... Bonnie's favourite thing really would be snuggling up to you inside on a big comfortable lounge.
Bonnie is quite the Bowerbird. This means you will need to look for your missing sock, shoe, workboot or pyjama bottoms in her lovingly-crafted collector's bed. Nothing is ever destroyed, she just likes collecting her 'special items' to have around her.
She also loves water and will tip over the heaviest bucket. You will need to outsmart her with keeping her water bowls filled. Whilst this may seem to be a happy game on the surface, keep in mind that for many greyhounds, behaviour like this is really anxiety-based from their past career-life and will lessen over time. Perhaps providing a water-filled clamshell will allow her to splash to her hearts content in the meantime.
Bonnie has been well-socialised with other mid-large dogs and would be open to having a male playmate of suitable size. She is also really great with kids – not too small/young because she is a big, enthusiastic girl and may innocently forget her physical strength. She has already enjoyed some time being doted on by young kids who shared dress-ups and bedtime stories on sneaky pillows and hiding under bedcovers.
Bonnie loves engaging with her 'hoomans', enjoys stimulating her brain and would thrive with attending obedience/activity classes with you. At this stage she would not suit living with fulltime workers.
Want your very own Amazonian bowerbird princess to be by your side? Welcome this sensitive big-hearted girl into your life and be adored.

Greyhounds are gentle, highly sensitive dogs that will surprise you with their ability to love and engage. It is expected that you will provide patience, love and encouragement to assist with the transition from life in a race kennel to becoming a pet and cherished part of the family unit.
They are mainly indoor dogs that need comfortable, safe places to sit and sleep so you must be prepared to accommodate this via suitable bedding and warm clothes in cooler months. A safe, secure yard is required and they require a walk everyday and/or playtime in the backyard.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
