Cindy

This little cutie is Cindy!

Cindy has been through a few changes lately. She is still a little unsettled but is receiving lots of love from her foster carer to help her feel safe and secure.
Cindy can be a little shy when meeting new people but does settle quite quickly and is then very cuddly and affectionate. We have not introduced her to young children but has been friendly with older children she has met (8 years +) so we would prefer a home with older children for her as they are a bit more understanding of a dog's need for personal space

Cindy has met a couple of other dogs and can be a little defensive at first but we believe she will relax more as she starts to feel comfortable.
She is looking for either a home with a relaxed desexed male dog of similar size or a home with no other dogs where her new family will be home to spend a lot of time with her and offer her company and all the loves she really deserves.

Secure fencing will be important considering her small size and we need to know she will be safe and secure until she learns that she is home

Cindy is well behaved when she is inside and is toilet trained but may need the occasional reminder until she settles in to her new home. She is currently sleeping indoors overnight and would like to be offered the same in her new home where she can feel warm and secure

We have not had the opportunity to test Cindy with cats so she will be looking for a home where there are no cats.

Cindy walks well on lead and has been out an about a couple of times since she came into our care. She enjoys all the sounds and smells and takes in everything going on around her. She can be a little responsive when seeing other dogs but we believe this will also settle once she feels safe and gains trust in her new owner.
