Meg ~ 3yo Kelpie girl (on trial 19/09/16)

Meg is a beautiful brown kelpie, approximately 3 years old. She has the sweetest nature.

Unlike most kelpies, Meg is not super energetic and loves sleeping (She's sleeping now on her three piece lounge). She is active in the morning and late afternoon for a game with her foster sister, but otherwise just likes to lie down and soak up the sun!

Meg is learning new skills everyday and knows sit, come and wait. She will thrive with some training, which will be easy as not only is she smart, but she's also food motivated. Feed time is her favourite time of the day! She's currently living in an enclosed back porch, but is housetrained and allowed inside on occasion.

Meg is a little shy at first, but has never shown any aggression towards humans & is gentle with kids. She gets on well with other dogs and would like to have a friend to play with. She likes to play rough with her foster sister, who is bigger than her & will tell her when it's too rough. She isn’t tested with cats or pocket pets so we are unsure how she would go with them. She is interested in chasing birds from the yard, but only if they're noisy. She will bark at dangers but quiets and comes when called.

Meg will need 6ft secure fencing, regular walks, plenty of cuddles and love and she’d also love some regular bones and pigs ears.
