About Skip
Oh Skip I am sure you will grow into those ears! Meanwhile if you need good reception, Skip is your man! Skip is the epitome of a well balanced kelpie, he is loyal, loving, energetic and keen to learn.
Skip has settled into foster care easily. He is a happy pup who loves to play with his toys, play with other dogs and sit by your side.
Skip loves his humans and wants to be with you. He will sit with his head on your lap while you watch tv, and loves those big ears to be massaged. He is great off lead and will run with the other dogs and come to a whistle. He seems to be great on lead too, walking by your side, he walks so close that sometimes he does get under your feet.
He is toilet trained and has had no accidents. Skip knows how to sit and to wait for his dinner. He is focused on his humans and looks you in the eyes waiting for direction.
The size of an adult, but still very much a puppy! Skip will need lots of toys, will need a good run to burn off his energy, ongoing training and lots of love.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
