Cookie

Cookie is very much a female orientated bird although she is fine with males too. She loves her whole body scratched and rubbed and when you do she will respond with a full body backward arch and a kind of 'purr'. Cookie was hand raised from a chick and would make the ideal bird for someone who can give her all the love and attention she constantly craves. She prefers to sit on your shoulder most of the time but also likes to crawl under your shirt and rest against your belly. Cookie is an intelligent bird that will respond to training. She mimics the budgies wolf whistles and says "Hello Cookie" and "What are you doing?". Cookie has a training toy that gets stuffed with her favourite treats - Walnuts peanuts dried fruit. Cookie will need to be a free range bird for the majority of time - she does not like being restrained in her cage but happy to sleep in it all night long.
