About Lucy ~ Rottweiler X Wolfhound pup (Trial 15/8/16)
Introducing the adorable Lucy! Lucy is a 10 week old female Rottweiler X Wolfhound puppy.
This beautiful girl spends her days playing with her foster brothers and sisters - she plays well with other dogs of all sizes and loves human company. As Lucy is a puppy she will need lots of socialising and training so we strongly recommend puppy pre-school.
Lucy will grow to be a large dog and will require a good size yard with secure fencing and plenty of exercise. She would love another doggy friend to play with and be a role model for her. Being a puppy, she should not be left alone for extended periods of time as she may get into mischief.
Lucy needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at night. She will be a wonderful family dog. Lucy loves her squeaky toys, playing with the ball and wrestling with her foster brothers and sisters. Lucy would suit a family with older children.
As Lucy is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
