About Gabby
Gabby was rescued from Muswellbrook Pound...when she arrived, she was highly stressed and extremely thin. She is now being fostered in a family environment with other dogs/pups and also a cat. Her foster family adore her and describe her as a 'snuggly girl who loves to be with you'.
This gorgeous girl is fully toilet trained, crate trained at night for sleeping, will 'sit', 'drop' and 'shake' on command and is learning 'stay'. Gabby has great recall and enjoys her walks. She has shown some food aggression with the other dogs in her foster home which is also being worked on by her foster carers. This is most likely due to the fact that she has had to fight for her food previously. In time, and with the support of her carers, this should not be an ongoing issue.
Gabby has now been in Wally's care for about 2 weeks and has truly blossomed in that time. She is dog friendly and there has been no issues with their foster cat. Although she can be shy in new environments, with further exposure, this is something her carers feel she will overcome.
We would love to see Gabby find a home where she will be the centre of someone's world. With a family or someone who has the time and patience to continue to bring this girl out of her shell. Gabby would be happy to have another doggie companion in her new home but this is not necessarily needed, as long as she has her humans around her, nothing else seems to matter.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Gabby.
Gabby will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. She is booked in for desex on 25th August and will be available for adoption after this date. She is super excited to meet her new family and is available for a meet now.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
