About Jackson
Jackson
10 years old. Completely blind.
Fox terrier x dacshund
A sweet, mature dog who is looking for a quiet home to spend retirement.
He doesn't need too much exercise and isn't interested in learning new tricks...but strolls in the park and some couch time in front of the TV - now you're talking!
Jackson gets around well regardless of his condition and would best suit a low set house of course.
He is an indoor dog and is seemingly house trained ...no accidents so far! I would suggest regular trips outside though so he can learn where the grass is and where to toilet.
His blindness has not slowed him down or dampened his will to live, that's for sure! He still wants to explore the world!!
He is a small dog, love his cuddles and gets along well with other animals.
He would best suit someone who is home a lot as he does need a bit more attention, given he can't see.
If you'd like to organise a meet with Jackson, please send us a message.
Located North Maclean for meet and greets.
Adoption price $250 and of course includes desexing, vaccination, chip and health check as per standard.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption price) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Greenbank on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
