I don't want to brag but my foster mum thinks I'm a triple threat as I am intelligent, affectionate and ridiculously good looking.
I enjoy my own company and happily entertain myself with my toys, but my favourite part of the day is when people come home. I LOVE people, so much! This means I am excellent at walking on the lead; I have no desire to run and explore without humans guiding me.
My foster mum adores the fact I learn so quickly and am eager to please. She thinks I am one of the best puppies she has ever met and everybody who meets me falls in love, too. But I don't want to brag...
MY IDEAL HOME: Humans are the best, so a family would be fun! But like any dog I just need love. I have met babies and dogs and we have all gotten on well, so I feel my options are open. :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love to snooze and cuddle, and am happy with just a smallish walk to the park each day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: So far I have met children and a 1-year-old baby, and I instinctively knew not to jump up and to be very gentle. I am very relaxed, so when the kids were patting me roughly I didn't mind, I just sat patiently next to my foster mum.
MY SUITABILITY TO DOGS AND CATS: I spend lots of time with my neighbour's Bichon Frise - we get on well, but she is a bit old and grumpy so we just chill out together. :) I can sometimes be timid when I meet dogs for the first time, but I play happily in the park with puppies that are my size and have started showing interest in playing with the big dogs, too.
I've walked past the cats on my street, and to be honest I don't really notice them.

Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
