About Rusty ~ 3yo greyhound boy (on trial 24/09/16)
Introducing Rusty, the 3yr old greyhound! Rusty lives by this song;
Love, love me do
You know, I love you
Ill always be true
So please, love me do.
According to Rusty ‘LOVE’ is his favourite thing in the whole wide world. Kisses, hugs, cuddles and pats and everything else connected with love, he wants it all! He appreciates them so much that when you are cuddling him, he will practically morph into you. Oh, and he likes it when you sing to him as well.
Rusty is a very happy and outgoing dog. He is very people orientated, so don’t be surprised if he greets your guests like long lost friends.
Rusty likes playing with his fluffy toys, bouncing and flipping them around. He has just started working out puzzle boxes and kongs, which he really likes. He likes to have a play with others dogs, a zoomie, a game of chase or a play with a toy. He can however get a little over excited at times and forgets just how big he is so would be best suited for older kids.
Rusty would like a forever home where he is counted as a member of the family. He likes to be close to his family so being allowed inside is a must. He needs to have a friend of similar size as he wouldn’t cope as a only dog. And of course he would like lots of attention and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
For more information or to meet Rusty, please contact his foster carer Misty on 0434 373 422 or mistyem@tpg.com.au. Rusty is located in Wallsend, NSW (Newcastle area) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
