Lana

Lana can literally be described in three words: Goofy, Loveable and quirky.
She is such a puppy at heart, with long clumsy legs and a happy nature, she is the perfect addition to any family who loves large breed dogs. She has an absolutely beautiful social nature and is currently in foster care with 12 other dogs, ranging from small senior staffies to large male mastiffs and she gets along and socialises with all members of the household. She would do best in a home with another friendly and social dog, we haven't assessed her with small breed dogs so we aren't 100% sure how she would go but her best friend is a 9 kilo dog and she rumbles all day with him fine. A playful dog would suit her best as she loves to wrestle around with other dogs.
Since being in foster care, she has been successfully integrated into a pack of dogs, she is learning her recall and off leash training, we are still working on perfecting her on leash walking but with time and patience; this should be an ease. She is also learning her basic obedience such as sit, and stay and also how to interact around food with other dogs present.
She has a goofy and puppy nature when she meets cats, so with the correct introductions she should be fine to share a household with these. We haven't been able to introduce her to young kids but with how friendly she is, she should be fine with them. She can be a little bouncy but she picks up her manners and desired behaviours very quick so this shouldn't be an issue with introducing her further to boundaries of the household and the outside world.

Secure and safe fencing of at least 5ft is essential, unless a rural property is the perspective household then farm fencing and the correct training is suitable for her. She has also been around horses and cattle and hasn't showed any real interest in them but typical curiosity.
